National
Eisteddfod

Safon worked closely
with the staff of the National Eisteddfod
in Cardiff 2008 to give it support in
many areas – mostly safety infrastructure
- and worked in tandem with existing
key personnel to ensure a quality of
service second to none, dealing with
all paperwork, communication and developing
an on-line project management system
for safety.
2009 sees them returning to work with
the team at this year’s festival
in Bala.

BAFTA Cymru

Rhys Bevan has been
event production managing these awards
for the past ten years and Safon took
it over in 2007 when he joined the Barcud
Derwen group and started this new subsidiary.
Staging Wales’ premiere event takes
a lot of co-ordination and working closely
with the BAFTA team, this means ensuring
that the event is done well, after all
this is the flagship event of the industry
- all eyes are watching!
This year sees Safon once again overseeing
all of BAFTA Cymru’s event management
working closely with old and new friends
who support the work of this charity,
with Barcud Derwen being suppliers of
the post production requirements; it’s
basically a one stop shop approach.
